Interactive Authoring

Now, not to sound cheap, but I don’t usually like to pay for things I don’t have to, especially any kind of subscription service. I’m talking about the fact the proctor wants all the students to sign up to Lynda.com as a requirement for the class. This is ridiculous because it costs $25/month for just watching tutorial videos! Now, if these were 15+ minute long videos made by professionals I would be more willing to do so, especially since it’s a “requirement”, but since they’re not I simply won’t do it. I know enough about Flash as it is since I’ve used it for years and know just about every aspect of it. We pay the proctor to teach us what he/she knows, not for them to say, “Go here and watch these. Have fun.” and shell out $25 each month when more often then not it won’t be worth it; besides, I don’t have an income and I don’t really have the money to pay for shit that should be free! If he has a problem with it, honestly I’m just going to tell him that I won’t do it.
